Cousteau Bix Christopher has been creating films, visual effects, and tutorials for over 10 years. He has won various awards, and was elected to be a director for SBIFF's 10-10-10 competition in 2018. In addition to this, he maintains a social media presence through hosting films on the YouTube platform as well as posting to other various social platforms. Cousteau looks towards growing overall as a filmmaker in his journey towards Hollywood.

Cousteau believes filmmaking to be one of the greatest mediums for making socio-political commentary to be received by mass audiences regarding current events and society, all while maintaining a creative edge that captivates the viewer as the film’s message is told. Looking to break into the horror genre with mind-bending psychological cosmic horror as his niche, Cousteau’s goal is to become a blockbuster producer/director creating unique and poignant films that causes the audience to feel, to think, and to act.

From a technical aspect, Cousteau has worked with various cameras throughout his career, including ARRIs, REDs, Canon C200s and C300s, And Black Magic Ursa Minis. However, Cousteau’s overall favorite camera is the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro (and Pocket 4K). Due to it’s versatility with size and weight, as well as its 6K RAW capabilities and 13-stop dynamic range yielding an absolutely beautiful image. the Pocket 4k & 6K Pro have proven to be worth their weight in gold.

In the realm of editing, color grading, and visual effects, Cousteau has vast experience working with a large variety of 3D, video editing, and photo editing programs with extensive knowledge in programs such as Davinci Resolve, Fusion, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Mocha, Final Cut, Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Mudbox, Realflow, as well as plugins such as PheonixFD, FumeFX, Rayfire, and more.
